\n\nQual \u00e9 o problema com o animal dessa foto? <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esse macaco-de-cheiro (Saimiri sp.) aparenta estar muito bonito a primeira vista, mas se voc\u00ea se atentar um pouquinho ver\u00e1 que suas coxas e sua cauda est\u00e3o sem pelos. Isso ocorre porque o animal est\u00e1 entediado no recinto e tem muita energia acumulada, o que o faz arrancar os pelos dessas regi\u00f5es. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esse comportamento se chama automutila\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 um sinal cl\u00e1ssico de estresse por ac\u00famulo de energia (t\u00e9dio). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Para amenizar e ou previnir esse tipo de problema nos zool\u00f3gicos \u00e9 preciso preparar estrat\u00e9gias de enriquecimento ambiental e social, incluindo atividades em que o animal possa interagir muito tempo com objetos e com outros de sua esp\u00e9cie. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
